Installation

Download the installer and run it.
Follow its steps; MAPu lands in the Start menu and on the desktop.
To update, install the new one over the old; your settings stay. The program tells you when a new version is out.

Windows may warn you ("Windows protected your PC") because the installer is not signed: "More info" → "Run anyway".

Windows 10 or 11 — 64-bit.
Memory — at least 8 GB.
Graphics card — on an NVIDIA card (driver 570 or newer) fast hardware encoding (NVENC); without it the CPU encodes, more slowly.
Internet for the map — an area already seen is remembered and works offline next time.
